Search and Consultancy Network or SCN opened in July of 1992, is a boutique search firm engaged in the middle- to top management level positions predominantly for multinational corporations and local conglomerates. We have industry experience in the Marketing and Sales field, Logistics, HR and Accounting but we can also recruit candidates in the Technical areas of IT and Manufacturing.

Our solid understanding of Thai industry, people and culture and essential knowledge for an effective search help ensure prompt and accurate identification of the right candidate. Our Consultants are constantly investing considerable time and effort to identify the expertise needed in various fields of assignments.

Our vision and dedication for performing high quality searches in a timely manner has enabled us to maintain long-term relationships with our Clients and is reflected by the number of engagements, repeat orders, and referrals made by former Clients.

Our Consultants are highly trained and experienced in interviewing, selecting and indentifying professionals. We are an expert in our field and with the right insight and professionalism, we practice strict business ethics and we safeguard the confidentiality status of both our Clients and Candidates.

Executive Search

This is when we look for professionals who may not have been actively seeking for a change in their career hence not looking in the classified advertisement of leading newspapers. These professionals can either come from employer’s competitors or from a similar industry. We will match these candidates profile base on the job brief and requirements given by the Employer.

Executive Recruitment

This is when we advertise the position via internet or newspaper. We will prepare the advertisement and act as intermediary between the respondent to an advertised position. We go to the process of screening, testing and shortlisting qualified candidates.



SEARCH PROCESS

Client Briefing

The initial discussion centers on the Client’s job requirements and specific needs. We initially gather information about our Client's company in general and about the requirements in particular. This includes a detailed questionnaire.

Search

We will do a search plan, research through a wide network of contacts and through our data bank. We will call potential candidates for interview and come out with a shortlist of potential candidates.

Interview

We do in-depth interviews in English based on the Candidate’s experiences, responsibilities to the job and contributions to their company. We ask questions geared more on their achievements. We identify their personality, ability to communicate their ideas, impart feeling of self-confidence etc.

We do not use any testing tools, However, upon client’s request, we send the candidate for testing and assessment at leading Human Resources Assessment Company. There is a fee for the service and this is billed to the Client directly.

Our Consultants interview and screen the candidates and prepare a summary of the interview or “Interview Impression” highlighting the candidate's strengths, weaknesses or areas of improvements, personality, presentation skill and motivation to move.

Presentation of Resumes

Resumes submitted to the Client are actual resumes submitted by the Candidates to SCN. No editing will be done to ensure consistency of information.

Expected Length of Search

SCN shall present the Client with a shortlist of candidate within one or two weeks from the confirmation of the job assignment. However, for some technical positions or positions not available in our data bank, SCN needs about two to three weeks before submitting a shortlist of candidates.

We assist Clients in arranging appointments and checking successful Candidate’s Character References.



GUARANTEES AND CONTRACT

Guarantees

Existing Clients are “off limits” for the purpose of search. If the selected Candidate leaves before the end of our guarantee period, SCN will repeat the search one more time without extra charges to the Client or the fee can be applied to any other position as per Client’s request.
